Frank M. Hauck

Frank Hauck is Executive Vice President of EMC, responsible for leading EMC's customer- and quality-centric organizations and programs. With 2009 revenues of $14 billion and approximately 43,000 employees, EMC is the world's leading developer and provider of information infrastructure technology and solutions that enable organizations of all sizes to transform the way they compete and create value from their information.

Hauck reports to EMC Chairman and CEO Joe Tucci in leading EMC's Solutions, Technology Alliances, Executive Briefing Center customer programs, Customer Quality, and the Total Customer Experience, which is EMC's commitment to consistently exceed its customers' expectations for quality, service, innovation and interaction. Within EMC Information Infrastructure Products, which consists of EMC's entire portfolio of technology and products, Hauck also leads Business Operations and Common Hardware Products, including Iomega, and oversees Worldwide Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain Operations, Advanced Development, and Partner Engineering. Pat Gelsinger is President, EMC Information Infrastructure Products.

Until the March 2010 appointment of Jeremy Burton as EMC's Chief Marketing Officer, Hauck also led EMC Global Marketing. During his 20-year career at EMC, he has served as Executive Vice President and head of the EMC Storage Division, overseeing the development of all of EMC's storage platforms; Executive Vice President, Customer Quality and Services; Executive Vice President of Customer Operations, overseeing EMC's Sales and Services organizations; Executive Vice President of Products and Offerings; Chief Information Officer; and Senior Vice President of Business Integration, which included leading EMC's successful integration of Data General Corporation. Before joining EMC in 1990, he held a number of management positions at the former Digital Equipment Corporation.

Hauck is a graduate of Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island, holds an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and completed the Executive Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.
